Inuyasha is a Japanese animated series that tells the story of a character named "Inuyasha," who is shot with a magic arrow and sealed to a tree, in feudal Japan. A 15-year-old girl from present-day Japan is transported in time back to the medieval Japan and is caught up in a whimsical tale of fantasy and adventure, where she has to team up with the enemy ("Inuyasha") of her ancestor to collect and protect the fragments of a magic jewel.
